A warm welcome awaits all who visit us! At the heart of the community centre is our Anchor Bar & Bistro, a place to meet friends old and new with a chance to grab a pint or some food with the family.

During our bustling summer season, we provide dining to all visitors to Clare Island. Our reserved area above the bar provides beautiful views over the bay with glimpses of Croagh Patrick and beyond.

Whether it’s an energetic live band or an easy going trad session, the Anchor Bar is a great place to catch some live music. Winter months offer up some quieter evenings with card games or poker to participate in too! And special events are held in our sports hall, transformed into a concert or wedding after party venue!
